I’ll go on record to say I am not a great fan of President Macron, especially since he seems to have an uncanny ability to show a firm grasp of a situation, only to turn towards a neoliberal approach to solving whatever problems there may be (or may not be).

I do hope he recovers quickly, especially since this virus managed to leave Donald Trump, Boris Johnson, and even Jair Bolsonaro intact. Diseases may not be fair, but I would really like to see my country, France, avoid the…
